Life of a Multifaceted Artist

I grew up under the wide open skies of the Wheatbelt in Western Australia, where colour and light stretched endlessly across the landscape. Those early years shaped me — I learned to see beauty in every detail, to trust intuition, and to express myself freely.

I’m a self-taught abstract expressionist, guided more by feeling than by rules. My canvases are bold, joyful, and alive — and over time, I began to dream of my art stepping off the walls and into the world. That dream became wearable art: dresses, scarves, and clothing that carry the same spirit of freedom and colour as my paintings.

Now, I live on a small country property surrounded by nature, creating pieces that are as sustainable as they are beautiful. Every design is infused with joy, individuality, and a love of the earth. My aim is simple: to empower women to wear their authenticity, their colour, and their confidence.

When I’m not in my studio, I’m all about my family — especially time with my grandchildren, who bring endless laughter and inspiration. I love singing, play golf, picking something fresh for dinner from my veggie patch, and looking after my cheeky flock of chickens, who remind me daily to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

My vision is for this little corner of the internet — Kerry Munns Artlife — to grow into a  place where women find not just clothing, but a reflection of who they are: bold, vibrant, unapologetic, and free.

This is more than fashion. It’s art you can live in, style you can feel, and a story that continues with every woman who wears it.
